Essential Science announces the launch of their online resource for the Life Sciences Marketplace: essentialscience.co.uk - 15 November 2004 –
Essential Science Ltd, the technology exploitation company, today announced the launch of their new web site which will provide a readily accessible source of information and comment on the most critical issues facing the industry.
The site presents an overview of the problems and challenges facing the Life Sciences Market and provides articles by industry experts categorised under Drug Discovery, R&D, Technology, Manufacturing, Compliance and Commercial. It is intended to become an important information and opinion service to both Technology Providers and Technology Users within the drug development community as well as investors, analysts, and journalists.
The web site and Essential Science's new corporate identity were developed by beBRAND, an independent brand consulting company in London.
beBRAND announces product development collaboration - 29 October 2004 –
beBRAND has joined forces with Something, a hot house attached to Ravensbourne College of Design & Communication to create a product in the entertainment & telecom sectors. The first phase of work is supported by the LDA's JumpStart Connect Programme which encourages small businesses to partner educational or research organisations in pursuit of innovation.
James Sandwith and interaction designer Ron Bird will lead the project.
Essential Science extends relationship - 13 July 2004 –
Following the preparation of marketing materials for their stand at the Bio conference in San Francisco, Essential Science has now appointed beBRAND to design a new corporate identity and completely overhaul the web site essentialscience.co.uk.
beBRAND launches Into The Unknown web site for Vodafone Retail Network - 12 July 2004 –
Into The Unknown is an incentive scheme run through July and August 2004 for Vodafone's network of 319 UK retailers.
The jungle themed web environment allows employees at each UK store to login and play a weekly quiz. Correct answers score points which are added to performance points based on sales of new phone contracts, products, etc. Stores are ranked by region, and the top 3 qualify to play an online fruit machine, which distributes prizes (MP3 players, digital cameras, holiday vouchers and so on).
beBRAND designed and coded the initial solution in 7 days and developed the interactive functionality over a further 2 weeks.
beWARE partners Chic-n-unique.com for online sales - 3 July 2004 –
Chic-n-unique will act as beWARE's PR company and also sell their clothes through the web site chic-n-unique.com, set up to showcase the latest in emerging British fashion design.

Essential Science, advisors to the Life Sciences market, has appointed beBRAND to develop marketing materials for the Bio conference in San Francisco next month. Glasgow based Essential Science hope to develop their international reach through 2004.

New Space Investments, a start-up company providing investment opportunities in the UK property sector, has appointed beBRAND to advise them on branding & communication issues, and the revision of their web site. beBRAND will partner an incumbent web developer to improve the site's usability and editorial style / tone of voice.
