beWARE launches Winter Promotion - 1 November 2003 +

Fashion brand beWARE has launched long sleeve versions of its popular 'Bridge' design in anticipation of the holiday shopping season. Along with the 'Bridge', the new 'Flame' design will also be available with long sleeves for both men and women. The shirts can still be found in shops around London (Ian Logan Design in Clerkenwell, Alphabet in Soho, Oddity in Soho, and Nothing on Portobello Road) or purchased directly through beWARE@beBRAND.net.

beBRAND selected by CBI - 1 October 2003 +

beBRAND has been selected by the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) as one of four companies to represent the Brand Development sector in their listing of UK marketing companies. beBRAND will appear in the CBI's 2004 pocket diary.

beWARE launches - 14 July 2003 +

New fashion brand beWARE has introduced its first urbanwear t-shirt. Based on the cartographic symbol for a bridge this is the first in a series exploring different applications of graphic design.

beWARE designs can be found in Magma (Clerkenwell & Covent Garden), Nothing (Portobello Road), Alphabet Clothing (Covent Garden & Spitalfields) and Ian Logan Design Shop (Charterhouse Square).

Zorn Rubikon appoints beBRAND - 11 July 2003 +

Business development company Zorn Rubikon has appointed beBRAND to extend the pilot presentation tool, previously created by beBRAND, into a complete corporate web site. The strategic planning of the site will start in September 2003.

Zorn Rubikon provide fast track business development and sales acceleration services for technology companies entering the Western, Central or Eastern European markets.

beBRAND completes Brand Strategy for Solutia Pharmaceutical Services Division - 2 July 2003 +

Solutia PSD is the global pharmaceutical business of American chemical company Solutia Inc. (SOI, NYSE). They appointed beBRAND to help devise a new brand strategy, uniting the various companies within their portfolio and therefore strengthening their market position.

The new strategy was as much an internal exercise as an external one. Solutia PSD has been acquiring specialist companies in Europe and the US, resulting in a disparate group of employees from different cultures and with different expectations. Bringing them together to serve clients more effectively was a key objective of the project.

The strategy provides Solutia PSD with a simplified set of tools through which to sell their services and a powerful brand to unite employees around the world. It will be brought to life later in 2003 once the creative phase has been completed.

beBRAND were appointed in February 2003 following discussions with brand consultants and agencies in the US, UK and Switzerland.

SOS launches with beBRAND name & identity - 1 July 2003 +

beBRAND was commissioned to create the name and visual identity for newly established Scottish event organisers, now branded SOS Event Management.

The name stems from that sense of panic felt by so many when faced with the challenge of organising an event. SOS are the party world's answer to the emergency services. They plan private parties, weddings and corporate events primarily in and around Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The identity consists of a graphic symbol (a ligature of the letters SOS) and a series of interchangeable words to fit the acronym depending on the specific application. Thus Shaken Or Stirred, Sweet Or Savoury, Seriously Organised Style etc.

The Watermen's Hall Preservation Trust appoints beBRAND - 23 February 2003 +

The Watermen's Hall Preservation Trust has been formed to raise funds to pay for the long-term conservation and preservation of the Georgian home of The Company of Watermen & Lightermen of the River Thames. The Company was formed by Act of Parliament in 1555 to regulate watermen and wherrymen and to offer apprenticeships to those seeking to work on the Thames. It has been instrumental to transport on the River ever since.

The Hall, located at St Mary-at-Hill, EC3, will be opened to provide increased public access and a web site will be created to become the Trust's information hub and to be celebrated as 'the' online destination for Thames related content. It will provide information on the Hall & the heritage of the Thames, and additionally an integrated system for managing visits to the Hall and the use of its facilities.

beBRAND has been appointed to advise the Trust on the creation of the web site and the marketing and presentation of the enterprise.
