RON BIRD

Ron is an independent IT architect specializing in the design of interactive products.

After training at Central St Martin's School of Art and spending his formative years at Xerox with their Human Factors User Interface team, he has worked with clients such as IBM, Reuters, Symbian, Silver Platter, Siemens, TIAG (in Hong Kong), Antara (in Indonesia), and Yamachi (in Japan). Ron has been Creative Director of Tarantella Inc, a NASDAQ listed software company; he's worked with Hutchison 3G on their next generation of mobile devices, and he's led the team developing camera interfaces for Nokia's latest handsets.

Ron has spoken at conferences in London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo. He has lectured at The Royal College of Art, Middlesex University, Coventry University and Imperial College London.
